Hi!  And welcome to Gary & Kim's personal website.  This site is for our relatives and friends to see what we're doing for our 'retirement' somewhere within the next few months!  Yes, there may be other uses for the site as well, but for the time being it's just this.  You'll see pictures from our vacations/trips and other family events, and progress of our property and other pics there.

Our retirement home will be situated in the middle of 26-acres of wooded timber located just north of Hardy, Ark.  We have  finished our driveway, have had a well drilled to a depth of 505-ft. with excellent water, built a 'pumphouse' to cover the well and water holding tank,  placed a '48 foot boxcar/shipping container' for storage, cleared the site of our future retirement home.   Hoping to get at least the foundation, walls and roof up so we can work at our leisure on the inside between then and the actual time we retire and move there permanently, presently planning to happen in April ?, 2011.

UPDATE as of 11-14-10:  This date we finally got started in preparation for the basement.  As of 2-23-11 we have our basement footings and walls installed, along with plumbing in the basement.  Should be pouring the basement floor on 3-3-11.  Check out the latest in pictures in the Gallery!

We actually have a permanent physical address there now, but we use a P.O. Box for any mail we have sent to Hardy. 

At a later time, we may also put a link up here to sell some new and used items, for ourselves and others that may want to sell a few things, but this is just in the makings at this time and don't hold us to that for a while!  If you're a fisherman, then make sure to check out the 'Fishing Guides' button to the left, and you'll be glad you did!
